Welcome to the Sensory Garden Site.
Follow along as we install the garden, introduce its first plants, and begin bringing the experience to life.
Welcome to our garden
A living garden, designed to be experienced.
The NewBridge Sensory Garden is a place of joy, discovery and purpose — a living garden designed to be experienced, not simply admired.
Together with staff and family, NewBridge residents can tend the plants, follow new growth, take cuttings, gather around the garden for activities, or simply enjoy being near something green and growing.
And there is plenty to notice. Leaves can be velvety, waxy, ridged, feathery or wonderfully strange. Colors shift from deep forest green to silver, pink and purple. Some plants trail over the edge, some reach toward the light, and others reward a closer look with patterns and details that are easy to miss.
The garden will change with the seasons and with the people who care for it. That’s part of the idea.
